A trained interior designer, Ayesha only started working with clay two years ago and has since gone on to show at various events UK wide. Using signature motifs, Ayesha creates eclectic, off-the-wall designs, each with a red dot which she says, "reflects on my obsession with the sun, and the spots that appear when I close my eyes from staring at the red gleaming sun from Asia, the sandy grains of earth and the fragrance of mustard flavours slow cooking in a clay pot." This session will be playful and experimental and is open to all levels of ceramicists. You'll have an opportunity to ask Ayesha questions, learn about her practice and gain insight into alternative techniques and glazes. You'll leave having hand built your own piece which can be fired and glazed at a future date. The workshop price includes access to one Clay Crafters club session (usually £15) to glaze your work.  Open to young adults, anyone under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
