Liz has been making up stories ever since she can remember. She writes for both grown-ups and young adults and is the author of three - soon to be four - novels. Her debut for young adults, Bearmouth, won the Branford Boase Award, the Waterstones Children’s Book Award for Older Readers, and was named The Times Children’s Book of the Year. Her second book for young adults, The Twelve, will be out this October. She’s also the author of two acclaimed historical fiction novels for adults, The Gifts and The Illusions.
