In collaboration with the Hungry Guy, Snack Shop is a workshop aimed at 8-13 year olds, developing delicious snacks for you and your friends to take you through holidays.

24, 25, 26 July at the Ludlow Youth Centre - children must be able to commit to all three days.

Ludlow Youth Centre - 65 Lower Galdeford, Ludlow SY8 1RT

10am-3pm (lunch provided) / this workshop is FREE of charge.

Children will learn a range of skills from baking through to designing and making. We'll look at what snacks are available to buy, what to look out for on the ingredients and packaging before we start to make our own snacks, recipes and explore our own brand ideas and designs. Our snacks will then be available to buy with vouchers! Every day we'll sit around a big table and eat lunch together and chat through what we've learnt, enjoyed and would like to do next.

- Children will learn how to make nutritious snacks at home using a wide range of affordable ingredients
- This workshop that is great for budding, food producers and artists - they will explore everything from baking through to packaging and marketing for their own brand of snack
- We will look at what to look out for on packaging, how to read ingredients, what power snacks can do for their bodies, how to bake or prepare their own snacks, what makes a nutritious snack, why some snacks might be better for us than others and we'll try new foods and ingredients
- Participants will also have a chance to take their snacks/products home to share with friends and family.

Great for children who would like to explore flavours, bake, draw, design, play shop and more.

This workshop is FREE and limited in numbers.
