Visual Journaling with Aoife Higgins
Visual journaling provides a safe place to play, try new things and record everything from deepest feelings to what you might consider your stupidest ideas. In this workshop, Aoife Higgins will show you modes of painting, drawing, writing, collaging as well as making handmade stamps and tools to fill and bring to life each page of your journal.
Visual journaling is a great way to hone your own visual and creative style, as well as being a powerful tool for self-exploration. It provides privacy, leaving you free to experiment to your hearts content, abandoning any external pressures. Nobody but you needs to know what is inside – whether you want to work on finding your personal artistic style, get to know yourself better, learn some new techniques, or simply have a go at something creative that is also low-pressure, then journaling can be a wonderful tool to use.
This is a two session course - each session runs for 3 hours.
10 May and 24 May - 10am-1pm
Adults and teens accompanied by an adult - each participant must book a space.
All materials included.
